Lakers to get Bynum back tonight

The Los Angeles Lakers have been without center Andrew Bynum since January 31st. The wait for Lakers' fans is over.

Barring any setbacks in pre-game warmups, Bynum will make his return tonight against the Denver Nuggets in what could be a preview of the Western Conference Finals. The Lakers and Nuggets are currently the top two seeds in the West.
"We want him to have an opportunity to play and get himself in position to help us out at the end of the season," [Lakers coach Phil] Jackson said.
Before injuring his knee, Bynum was averaging 26.2 points, 14 rebounds and 3.2 blocks per game over his previous five games. On the season, he's averaging 14.0 ppg, 8.2 rpg and 1.9 bpg.
