Jayson Williams arrested after fight at The Ugly Monkey
Ex-NBA player Jayson Williams was arrested after a bar fight at The Ugly Monkey in Raleigh (NC), according to Brian T. Murray of the Newark Star-Ledger.
"We chose to arrest Mr. Williams after interviewing the victim and other, uninvolved witnesses inside the bar," said Police Capt. T.L. Earnhardt. "People were bumping into people at he bar, and there was apparently a verbal confrontation between Mr. Williams and the victim. Mr. Williams then chose to become physical."
Last month, Williams was subdued by a taser at 4 a.m. in a New York City hotel.
Williams is also awaiting trial for a reckless manslaughter charge tied to the shooting death of his former limo driver, Costas "Gus" Christofi.
One thing is clear. Williams is a role model. Whatever he does or thinks, everyone should do the exact opposite.
