Lakers even series after ejections
The Los Angeles Lakers have evened their series with the Houston Rockets in "'80s style" as Lakers guard Kobe Bryant called it.
Lakers point guard Derek Fisher was ejected after elbowing Luis Scola in the head.

"We have guys whose game is based on skill, not lining up and being physical," said Fisher. "But at the same time, we can do a lot of things out there."After getting in Kobe's face, Rockets forward Ron Artest was ejected. Artest believed that a foul should have been called on Kobe and he wanted to send a message.
Said Artest: "I told Kobe, 'You've got to relax. You're hitting the wrong person. Don't you know you're hitting Ron Artest?'"In addition to Fisher and Artest being ejected by officials, Rockets coach Rick Adelman sent Von Wafer to the locker room after having a few words.
"To be honest with you I think it's great," Bryant said. "I don't think he should have been kicked out of it. It's good, competitive basketball. He's not going to back down. He knows I'm not going to back down. It's what makes playoff basketball. Period."
"It took a lot of air out of the game," said Lakers Coach Phil Jackson of the end of the third quarter. "But it did set the tone for the game, and for what is to come."The NBA's Stu Jackson was in attendance and it's possible that suspensions could follow. However, who (besides Stu) doesn't love some '80s-style basketball?
