Paul Westphal next Kings coach
Per Sam Amick of the Sacramento Bee, the Kings are going to name Paul Westphal as their next head coach.
It is believed to be a three-year deal with the first two seasons guaranteed and the third year being a team option.
The Kings also interviewed Lakers assistant Kurt Rambis and Celtics assistant Tom Thibodeau. In fact, ESPN reports that the Kings made an offer to Rambis, but Rambis turned it down.
Eddie Jordan interviewed prior to being named the new Sixers coach.
Last year, the Kings posted their lowest win total (17) in franchise history and hold the fourth overall pick in this year's NBA draft, which will take place on June 25th.
