Will Camby be a Knick next season?
When the off-season begins, the Knicks are expected to make their move to bring back center Marcus Camby, who was a Knick from 1998 to 2002, according to Frank Isola of the NY Daily News.
Camby, who was traded from the Clippers on February 17th to Portland, has helped the Blazers clinch a playoff berth.
That said, the interest the Knicks will have in Camby is mutual.
"... It's appealing going back home and going back to a city where I had a lot of great memories and a lot of great friends. Come July 1, I'll definitely give New York a look if they're interested. But I'm really happy about being here in Portland. We're in the playoffs. We have a great young team."
On the season, Camby is averaging 7.4 points, 11.6 rebounds and two blocks per game.
